I just watched the final few episodes of Gilmore girls season 2 and RORY KISSED JESS. FGHJKL:

Like...she practically jumped him and it was almost PG-13 compared to the "suitable for all" kisses that her and Dean usually have.

I NEED to get season 3 on DVD. Christopher is an ass to Lorelai too.

I can't believe that i'm 21 THIS SATURDAY! AAAARGH!

I'm having my uni birthday on wednesday and then my actual birthday on the saturday. I feel like the queen with mulitple birthday celebrations! Hehe!

No idea what i'm getting from pretty muc everybody. The rents are paying for my holiday adventure in london and paris with laura, but I don't know what else they've got up their sleeves...

I have so much to do this week, i'm going to be shattered come saturday. I go home for easter vacation on friday until....well...i actually dunno when i'm coming back. I have to be back for my two finals on the 27th and 28th, but I can come back anytime before then really. We'll see.

Right, i'm off to watch Ellen Degeneres' Here and Now. Funniest.Person.Ever.

Wow, I haven't updated this thing in a while, mostly because i've not had much LJ worthy news to talk about. It's been pretty uni crazy these past few weeks. Two dissertations to write, 2 essays, 2 finals and a poster all in the next few weeks. Graduation never seemed so close. July 3rd is the big day!1
I had a peek at the graduation robes, and alas they are no Buffy Graduation outfits, but the colours aren't bad at all. Goldy yellow and black don't look too bad.

I'm off home today for a few days, probably until tuesday so i'll be internet-less. I'm not taking my laptop home as i'm planning on doing nothing but reading and seeing my friends back home. It's been so long. Drunken-ness is going to be a major part of tonight. We're hitting all the old pubs we used to go to in 6th form. Good times.

What else? Hmm, my tickets for The Lion King came in the post. I can't believe Laura will be here in 2 months. Squee! (Laura is my friend from Canada who I met while on study abroad) I haven't seen her for over a year! Shocking!

I need to work getting Gilmore girls season 2 into conversation with my mum. I'm thinking "wow, mum did you hear about the increase in train fares?? That £20 to get home just won't be enough..." Okay, i'm working on that...

The wierdest thing just happened. My ringtone on my phone is the mp3 of All You Wanted and i'm listening to The Spirit Room and at exactly the same time as All You Wanted starts to play my phone rings and I didn't realise as I thought it was my music. This has happened twice in like a week. I need to change my ringtone...any ideas?

In other news I have a coffee maker IN MY ROOM and I went to the campus shop to buy filter coffee and it was 2 for 1 and i've drunk about 10 cups already. My room smells like a Starbucks <3

I've just discovered 3 Doors Down and they are LOVE....so too are "The Bens" aka Ben Folds, Ben Kweller and Ben Lee.

So it's 4.39am, it's snowing so much and i'm about to make toast as it's the only food I have in my room until I do a major shop tomorrow.
I want to go outside and just walk in the snow. I woke up to go to the bathroom and I can't get back to sleep. Even though i'm tired :/
Oh, and i'm craving coffee. I have so much work to do tomorrow, it's going to be me in Le Cafe all day drinking insane amounts of coffee reading about a child kidnapping. Aren't dissertations fun? :-p

OMGZ I just found out that Alias' final season order has been CUT from 22 to just 17 episodes :-O
I'm not best pleased at all.

An update of sorts is needed methinks...
I've just got back from visiting my grandparents in bonny wee Scotland and it was fantabulow-so. I haven't been to see them since they moved to Scotland so it was a trip long overdue. The journey up was a nightmare because my entire family came along and we so shouldn't be allowed in enclosed spaces for such a long time. I was playing my music and my brother said he could hear me playing mcfly and told me not to be such a girl for listening to mcfly. I told him that he too much be of the female variety if he knew it was mcfly in the first place. That shut him up.

I took loads of purdy pictures of the beach and the water and some island...Arran methinks. Scotland is so beautiful <3

We went shopping in Glasgow and it was muchos fun. Ben and Dad went to play golf somewhere or do seom male bonding somewhere. Strangely enough I declined the offer in favour of doing some retail therapy. We went into Hugo Boss and the store women was the snootiest person you've ever had the displeasure to meet. She just kepy looking down at us, probably cos I was dressed in baggy quicksilver jeans and a hoody. We decided to try on random clothes with no intention to actually purchase them, then left :p

I also got SEASON ONE OF GILMORE GIRLS AND I'M OBSESSED. It's fantabulous and then some. It's hilariously funny, sad, moving, feel good and about a bajillion other things all rolled into one. <3 I watched the first 2 disks back to back on the journey home

...i'm off to watch some more right now :D

Went to the union tonight for Flirt! Kinky Valentine Night. It was the best night we've had in the union in ages.
THEY PLAYED HANSON MMMBOP AND WE ACTUALLY SCREAMED AND RAN TO THE DANCEFLOOR. LMFAO. Good times.

I drank an insane amount of alcohol and Nathalie managed to out me to one of the guys on my floor. I was playing with her boobs (long story) and Andy (the guy who found out i'm a gayer) looked at me funny and Nat was like, "oh it's fine he's gay" then she just loooked at me and had a "omfg i'm so sorry" face. it was priceless. She thought i was pissed with her, but I completely wasn't. It was the funniest part of the night apart from when we were dancing and Nat slipped on some alcohol that had been spilt. LOL. Poor Nat.
I'm off to bed...I have a lecture in 6 hours. It so isn't happening :-p

OH KT TUNSTALL WON THE BRIT FOR BEST FEMALE. HELL YEAH!
Kelly Clarkson was snubbed (booooooo) but she won at The Grammys so it's all gravy :-D

Simon and Miquita are leaving Popworld. I'm actually quite upset. It's the only show on T4 that I watch religiously.
They're being replaced apparently. I'm sensing a Big Breakfast style decline in ratings. Simon and Mequita ARE Popworld.

I'm watching Michelle Branch's hilarious appearances on the show for nostalgic value.

Oh my. I've just seen a bunch of new pics of Michelle Branch and Jessica Harp, and seriously, I had sensations in places I really shouldn't be having them.

Wow. Livejournal is being totally ghey. It won't let me open up my friends page, so I haven't been able to read anyone's LJ for about 2 weeks. Nice one, LJ peeps.

Anywho, just a quick update as i've discovered a new singer/songwriter who is totally awesome. He's unsigned, and lists his major influence as non other than Michelle Branch, so he clearly has taste. He's called Adam Astbury and I encourage you to go check out his site, and you can hear a ton of clips from his albums. This guy is really quite good.
